The R-31 CB boasts many of the cherished features found in its smaller sisterships, but its larger design includes enhancements ideal for extended cruising while remaining easy to trailer. This model introduces the first flybridge from Ranger Tug, equipped with electronic controls at both the upper and lower helm stations, and it conveniently retracts for trailering. The foredeck is designed with versatile seating and a table that can be adjusted for either cruising or entertaining at anchor or dock. The spacious cockpit area features wraparound seating and additional fold-out seating from the gunwale, which can be stowed away when not in use, keeping the area clear. Inside, the R-31 CB offers a smart layout with two staterooms: a spacious island berth up front with an en suite head and a midship berth with a day head. Familiar elements such as the galley and lower helm station are designed to maximize space. Access from the lower helm to the side decks is made easy with a starboard side door for quick line handling at the bow. Like all Ranger Tugs, the R-31 CB comes nearly turnkey, equipped with standard features aimed at providing a hassle-free and comfortable boating experience, including bow and stern thrusters, an optional aft steering station, and a powerful Volvo D4 320hp engine. For those in warmer climates, the Luxury Edition Model includes essential air conditioning with reverse cycle heating and a sound-shielded diesel generator. High-tech Garmin Navigation Suites are featured at both helm stations, with the lower helm boasting an 8616xsv Chartplotter and the command bridge equipped with an 8612 Chartplotter. Both units come with xHD radar, sonar, AIS receiving, and autopilot with remote control, allowing you to effortlessly monitor fuel flow, engine data, GPS location, and more. The innovative, multifunction seating in the cockpit includes unique expanding gunwale seats that create a social area for six or more, complemented by an elegant wood table. The full galley is a chef’s delight, equipped with a propane stove and oven, double basin sinks, ample storage, a refrigerator/freezer, a wine/water cooler, and a microwave. Accessed by a staircase, the command bridge provides seating for six and features a dining table, enhancing your entertaining or navigation experience. The helm station is equipped with an 8612 Chartplotter, thruster controls, autopilot, VHF, and Volvo engine controls. With both bow and stern thrusters, docking and maneuvering in tight spaces is effortless, complemented by a wireless thruster remote for added control. The full-size helm door allows easy access to the bow for managing fenders and lines, while the midship stateroom offers comfortable sleeping for two, along with a day head and storage options.
