The Catalina 28 features sleek and stylish lines that are unmistakenly Chris-Craft. From the signature Carolina Flare bow to the reverse transom and beautifully styled hardtop and console, the Catalina 28 is another iteration of the boatbuilder’s commitment to classic design. For Chris Craft, design does not compromise performance. The raised sheer provides seaworthiness and a dry ride, while the new hull design is quick to plane and gives the boat exceptional performance and handling.
The standard pilothouse hard top features a curved tempered glass vented windshield and includes a windshield wiper. This console allows for weather protection and ventilation. The hardtop has 2 integrated speakers, overhead and spreader lights, and an optional SureShade.
The design focus was placed on providing a roomier interior than other center consoles in this size range. There are forward and aft social zones, with the aft featuring Chris-Craft’s signature fold away seating with pop up back rests. There are also 2 options for the helm seat: one features a cockpit galley with integrated sink, refrigerator, trash receptacle and ample storage, and the other is a patent-pending reversible helm seat that can be oriented to face the social zone in the aft cockpit. A teak table can be mounted in the aft cockpit or in the bow to complement the entertainment spaces. Integrated rod holders, live well, starboard side boarding door and an in-floor fish box give the Catalina 28 versatility as a fishing and entertainment vessel.
