- Engine — MerCruiser 5.7L V8, ~260 HP, carbureted (see honest note below)
- Drive — Alpha Gen 2 sterndrive
- Trailer — Single-axle with surge brakes; right hub and brake drum fully rebuilt in 2024
- Canvas — Bimini top, snap-on bow cover, full cockpit snap covers — all clean and functional
- Interior — Dual captain chairs, bow seating with cushions, walk-through windshield, swim platform and stern ladder

Honest note on the engine — read this before you call

The MerCruiser in this boat is older than the hull. A previous owner (before our current consignor) repowered the boat at some point with a low-use mid-1980s 5.7L. It runs and has been maintained at our shop every year since 2021. We did a major drivetrain refresh in 2022 — new coupler, new gimbal bearing, new starter, engine pulled and re-aligned to the outdrive. That's $2,782 of documented recent work. The motor's age is the single biggest reason this package is priced where it is. We mention it up front because we'd rather you know now than be surprised on a test drive.

5 Years of Service History at Harris Boat Works

Eighteen repair orders of documented service, annual winterization and shrinkwrap at our shop every fall. Spring 2026 startup is already done — new alternator and belt, dome lights, bilge wiring repaired, battery serviced. The complete service file is available to any serious buyer.

Family cruising and tubing on Rice Lake, the Kawarthas, or the Trent-Severn. Two adults, kids, gear, a cooler — that's the sweet spot. Not a wakeboard or competition ski boat. A capable, comfortable runabout with documented care.
