2012 Can-AM® Outlander™ X® mr 800R

The Outlander™ X® mr includes numerous mud-riding features that create a more effective mud machine, as proved by our success in many ATV championship mud races. We brought the air intake as high as possible on the ATV so the engine can breathe easily. It also has adjustable-on-the-fly front and rear Air Control Suspension (ACS). Our partnership with Gorilla‡ Axle gives this vehicle tyres for the finest mud performance. It’s still driven by the most power in its class. Mud riding calls for a hardworking machine and we’ve got just the one.

Features may include:

• TRI-MODE DYNAMIC POWER STEERING (DPS)

With three separate selectable settings for variable steering assistance. Less assistance at high speeds and more assistance at low speeds. With less kickback and more feedback thanks to the industry-best 50:1 final gear ratio.

• INTEGRATED SNORKEL SYSTEM (ISS)

Centrally located in front of the handlebars, it places the transmission intake and exhaust, and engine intake, as high as possible so the engine breathes easily during mud riding.

• FRONT AND REAR AIR CONTROL SUSPENSION (ACS)

An industry-first, ACS allows for on-the-fly adjustment of front and rear suspension settings, allowing the rider to adjust suspension stiffness and ground clearance. Plus, it includes a hose that can be used to adjust tire pressure or inflate other items.

• 71 HP ROTAX 800R EFI V-TWIN ENGINE

The 71 hp Rotax 800R is fed by a 46 mm throttle body and twin VDO Siemens fuel injectors for precision throttle control in every situation.
