PerformanceHonda's Unicam® cylinder heads combine single- and double-overhead-cam designs to create a compact engine with a narrow valve angle. This allows for a higher compression ratio and lower center of gravity.
Compared to the previous generation, our engineers improved the motorcycle's auto-decompression hardware, moving it from the right side of the cam to the left. This results in less stalling at low rpms and better rideability, especially when turning.
HandlingA superior frame is crucial for excellent handling, and the chassis delivers. It's lightweight and responsive, with narrow main spars, and was designed with direct input from Team Honda HRC riders.
