2026 Mercury 20hp FourStroke — Electric Start, Long Shaft, Tiller

Brand-new 2026 Mercury 20hp 4-stroke with electric start, long shaft, and tiller control. Same proven EFI engine as the short-shaft version, but sized for 20' transoms — fits deeper hulls, many pontoons, and boats with higher freeboard.

Long Shaft vs Short Shaft

If your transom measures 20', you need the long shaft. This is common on pontoons, deeper-V aluminum boats, and older fiberglass hulls. Running a short shaft on a 20' transom means cavitation, poor performance, and potential damage.

Ideal for: Pontoons, deeper aluminum fishing boats, utility boats, or any hull rated for 20hp with a 20' transom.
