Yamaha's latest 19' center console boats come with an exciting new deck and hull design, extending 3 inches in length and 2 inches in width compared to previous models. This additional space has allowed Yamaha's engineers to enhance storage capacity and overall functionality, making this boat the most spacious and comfortable in its class. The revamped hull design improves ride comfort by minimizing bow rise during acceleration and reducing hull packing in choppy waters. A key feature for 2019 is the innovative V-shaped reverse bucket that improves reverse handling, alongside a redesigned Articulating Keel that decreases drag while preserving low-speed maneuverability. To combat corrosion, a three-step protective process including Alumite, a ceramic coating, and epoxy paint has been implemented for the jet pump and driveline components. Storage compartments at the bow are now larger and more accessible, with integrated Plano® storage trays in the new portside mini-pod and a spacious starboard mini-pod. The wider bow platform and hatch offer better access and natural light for organizing gear. The center console includes a bench seat that lifts to reveal a deep storage area, which can also function as a changing room or head compartment, complete with a curtain enclosure in Deluxe and Sport models. Six vertical rod holders and four additional under-gunnel rod holders, plus four flush mount rod holders on the deck, provide a total of 14 rod holders, with the Sport version adding four rocket launchers on the t-top. The helm design features a removable windshield for low-profile storage, a stainless steel sports steering wheel, and easy access to control switches, alongside a locking glove box and space for flush-mounted electronics like a fish finder and GPS. The 4.3” touchscreen Connext control system offers a new user interface for 2019, along with conveniently placed rocker switches for functions like Yamaha’s No Wake Mode™ and Cruise Assist. The helm is also equipped with an angled footrest for added comfort. Behind the helm, a padded leaning post with backrest (on Deluxe and Sport models) provides support, along with a dedicated cooler space under the post. The deck layout has been optimized with removable backrests for the jump seats, allowing for easy access to the stern, and the livewell has been repositioned for better accessibility. Additional storage and battery access are available on the port side, while the starboard side features a 25-gallon live well with dual pumps controlled from the helm. The 190 FSH boasts a raw water Jet Wash® system for effortless deck cleaning, now with three RPM settings for precise water pressure control. The transom area is uniquely designed for open casting and towing activities, with the engine and drivetrain mounted in the hull. On Deluxe and Sport models, the convertible leaning post can be adjusted for added comfort. The signature two-tier swim platform sits low at water level, complemented by a retractable stern ladder for easy reboarding after swimming and a tow eye for watersports. Like all Yamaha boats, the 190 FSH features a patented clean-out port for easy debris removal from the jet pump without needing to enter the water.
