"Lady Grace" is a 38-foot WESMAC expertly crafted by MAINELY BOATS in Cushing, Maine, and is a 2022 model that debuted in Spring 2023. She boasts a robust solid fiberglass hull and is powered by a Cummins QSL9 engine with 450 horsepower. A trolling valve enhances her capability for slow-speed operation, ideal for fishing for Striped Bass and Bluefin Tuna. Designed as a charter boat, "Lady Grace" features practical systems that reflect the expertise of her owner, who has been charter fishing for around 40 years. The spacious cockpit includes a livewell at the stern and multiple flush-mounted rod holders along the gunwales. It is equipped with large scuppers and offers convenient access to the bilge via two sizeable Freeman hatches located fore and aft. The starboard side accommodates an aft station with a hydraulic pot hauler, while a Day Head, accessible from the cockpit, is situated on the port side. Entry to the wheelhouse is through a substantial watertight door. The cockpit is also outfitted with two washdown hoses—one powered by a hydraulic pump and the other by a DC-powered 3800 GPH Rule pump. Inside the wheelhouse, seating is available on both sides, and large windows ensure excellent visibility and natural light. The well-placed electronics can be easily viewed from the aft cockpit station, and the wheelhouse is heated for comfort during colder months. Descending to the cabin, you'll find the electronics panel on the starboard side along with a utility closet providing access to the fuel filter and systems behind the helm. The crew head is located on the port side, and moving forward reveals counter spaces with electrical outlets and storage on both sides. A V-berth with additional storage is located at the front. Key electronics include the Si-Tex NavPro 1200F GPS/Plotter with Sounder and 600W Transducer, Si-Tex Koden MDC-2000 Radar, Si-Tex Fish Finder with 1KW Transducer, Si-Tex SB38 Autopilot, and a Sea Surface Temperature Gauge. The radio system features two Standard Horizon VHF Radios, and a Durabrite Pro Series Forward Facing LED Searchlight is also included. The electrical system is supported by a 30 amp shore power connection and a Victron Inverter/Battery Charger, along with two 8D batteries and several 110VAC outlets throughout. Plumbing features include two manual flush heads with a holding tank and Y-Valves, a 40-gallon Bosch Water Heater, and a handheld shower in the Day Head. The running gear includes a Twin Disc 2/1 Transmission with a trolling valve, a 4-blade Nibral propeller measuring 28" x 33", and a 2" prop shaft, all housed within a solid fiberglass construction.
