Launched in 1975, the Valiant 40 quickly earned a reputation as the quintessential ocean cruiser, known for its performance and agility. Its innovative design has inspired numerous builders, often at significantly higher prices than a well-maintained Valiant. While early models faced issues with blisters, the 1992 boats produced in Texas are recognized for their durability and lack of such problems. Additionally, the Moderation model features a Pullman berth at the front and a head at the rear, similar to the more recent 42's.
