Boat Description

Step aboard the Toshiba and experience her inviting and cozy interior. Upon entering from the cockpit, you'll be welcomed by exquisite teak bulkheads and cabinetry. The cabin features bright white sides complemented by bronze opening ports and butterfly hatches, ensuring plenty of natural light. The stunning teak and holly sole adds to the vessel's charm. The custom wrap-around galley offers ample counter space and abundant storage in cabinets and drawers, though a painting on the forward bulkhead to starboard is not included. While the company presents the details of this boat in good faith, they do not guarantee the accuracy of this information or the vessel's condition. Buyers are encouraged to have their agents or surveyors verify any details they wish to confirm. This vessel is subject to prior sale, price changes, or withdrawal without notice. Starting from the aft, to the left of the companionway is the Sea galley, a unique feature on this 36-footer, mirroring designs found in the 40-foot models. To the right is the first private stateroom, featuring a double berth, hanging locker, and cabinets. Moving into the salon, you'll discover an aft-facing navigation station equipped with an electric panel, instruments, VHF radio, and chart desk to starboard, along with an L-shaped dinette and fixed table. Outboard are lockers and bronze opening ports, topped by one of the butterfly hatches. To port, there's a settee with additional lockers and several bronze opening ports. As we proceed forward, you'll find more lockers on the port side, with the head on the starboard side, showcasing a stone vanity and separate shower stall. Access to the head is available from the passageway or the forward cabin. The second stateroom offers a double berth in the forepeak, shelving outboard, a hanging locker to port, drawers beneath the berth, opening ports, and a second butterfly hatch. With her canoe stern design, the cockpit mirrors the wrap-around style of her stern, featuring comfortable combings and a high bridge deck for a dry experience. A Pushpit stern rail adds extra seating, while the wide decks ensure comfort while navigating forward. The galley is equipped with a large ice box, a Mariner Regal Gimbaled Propane stove with two burners and an oven, double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold water pressure, and a foot pump for convenience. Storage cabinets and multiple drawers are located outboard. For navigation, there’s a Furuno Radar (older but functional), Garmin 545 GPS, pedestal compass, original wind, knot, and depth instruments (note that the depth instrument is not operational), and a Navico Autopilot - Powerpilot. Sail features include a cutter rigged setup, original sails (main, genoa, genaker, staysail), Harken Roller Furling for the headsail, an aluminum spar stepped on the keel, and a cabin top-mounted traveler. The vessel is equipped with #45 Lewmar self-tailing primary winches, belaying pins on both sides, a boom gallows, sissy bars for mast support, and domestic and international running lights. Powering the Toshiba is a reliable 23HP Yanmar diesel engine with 2405 hours, accompanied by a 2009 Panda 2.5KW generator that operates the AC/HT and hot water heater. Additionally, she offers reverse cycle air conditioning and heat with a new controller, a new Electrasan and holding tank, 30 amp shore power with cord, and a battery charger. Both the engine and generator alternators charge the batteries. The vessel features stainless steel bow and stern pulpits, side stanchions, double lifelines with gates on both sides, a primary plow anchor with 50' of chain and 100' of rode, and a Danforth secondary anchor. Other notable features include a teak bowsprit with double anchor rollers, an aft washdown, teak decks and eyebrows, chrome cowl vents with teak boxes, a dodger, bimini, and connector, a teak cockpit grate, and a teak boarding ramp. For safety, the Toshiba includes a life raft (not serviced), stainless steel sissy bars at the mast, bronze opening ports, teak butterfly hatches, teak handrails, and an aft Pushpit with seating. The package also comes with dock lines, fenders, and an inflatable dinghy with a Mercury outboard engine.
