Introducing the 2005 Scout 280 Vintage, a remarkable vessel powered by a single Cummins/Mercruiser 300HP, 4.2L diesel engine with only 750 hours of use. Equipped with a Bravo 3 Sterndrive, which was replaced in 2020, this boat offers an impressive combination of speed and fuel efficiency. A new fuel tank was installed in 2018. Onboard, you'll find a Raymarine GPS/Plotter with radar, a Furuno fish finder, and a Garmin GPS/Plotter. The Scout 280 Vintage is the product of a collaboration between Scout and Cummins MerCruiser, designed to enhance the original 280 Abaco with a CMD 4.2 Electronic Sterndrive diesel engine. With over 50 square feet of dedicated fishing space and a long cruising range from its 140-gallon fuel tank, this model can achieve top speeds of around 43 mph and cruising speeds near 30 mph. It retains all the beloved features of the 280 Abaco while adding a full stern Flexi-teek platform, twin portholes, a bow thruster, and a luxurious stern seat/motorbox.
