Sceptre 41 1988

If you're in search of a sturdy, performance-driven cruising yacht, the Sceptre should be your top choice. This remarkable design combines exceptional blue water capabilities with modern comforts, earning a distinguished place in Ferenc Máté’s acclaimed book, The World’s Best Sailboats. The yacht is equipped with a Leisure Furl Boom and features a complete inside steering station with engine controls for navigating through rough weather. Its deep, secure cockpit is safeguarded by a glass windscreen, and it includes a convenient step-through transom and a separate stall shower below deck. Crafted for reliable performance, it boasts a keel-stepped mast with durable rod rigging, a skeg-hung rudder, and an efficient cutter rig. This particular vessel presents a unique opportunity for savvy buyers, as it is one of only two Sceptres available on the market and is attractively priced. The seller is very motivated and welcomes offers. Although the yacht could benefit from some straightforward cosmetic updates, its interior is in excellent condition and it shows beautifully overall.
