San Juan 1982

The San Juan 34 is a sturdy masthead sloop crafted by Hein Driehuyzen in partnership with Don Clark, representing the largest model in the San Juan series by Clark Boat Company. Initially produced as the Crown 34 by Calgan Marine in Canada, the molds were acquired by Clark in 1980, and the boat was manufactured until 1986, with approximately 50 units created. This racer-cruiser is designed for both speed and seaworthiness, featuring a fin keel and spade rudder. It draws inspiration from IOR designs for competitive PHRF racing while also providing excellent capabilities for coastal cruising.
