Discover a piece of maritime history with the iconic 1947 Murray Peterson schooner "Marie Celine." Once owned by wetsuit innovator Jack O'Neill, she served as a cherished family vessel for over 50 years. Crafted by Fellows and Stewart in Wilmington, California, this stunning boat has been lovingly maintained for more than 75 years. Her remarkable journey includes two circumnavigations of the globe. In 2011, she underwent a comprehensive refit by the Port Townsend Shipwrights Coop, featuring new Sapele planks, updated deck beams and frames, a new okoume BS 1088 Ply subdeck, and beautifully laid sapele plank top decks. Additional enhancements include new sea cocks, a completely rewired 12 Volt and 120 Volt electrical system, a rebuilt anchor windlass, a refurbished wormdrive steering system, new stainless steel tanks, cutting-edge navigation electronics, and countless other upgrades.
