The owner shares their journey: "I purchased this 1979 boat at just 18 months old in 1981 and initially docked it at Toledo Beach Marina in southern Michigan, sailing on Lake Erie. Between 1981 and 1989, I navigated Lake Erie, Lake Huron, and the Canadian North Channel. In April 1989, I embarked on a circumnavigation through the Panama Canal and the Suez Canal, visiting numerous countries and returning to Michigan in July 1991. Since then, I've been cruising out of Cheboygan, Michigan, on Lake Huron. I've made several upgrades, including adding solar panels around 1984, reinforcing the upper shrouds, and installing an additional forestay. In 2016, I invested $25,000 to replace all electronics, including the autopilot, radar, depth sounder, entertainment system, and VHF radio, along with a new Garmin chart plotter. Recently, I also added a deck washer pump and a propane leak detection system. Whenever needed, I've replaced sails and canvas work. Over 43 years, I have continuously upgraded, replaced, and maintained every aspect of this boat."
