The Rum Runner edition of the Mainship 30 Pilot Sedan is a robust powerboat that enhances the popular Mainship 30 Pilot with its hardtop design and semi-enclosed helm and bridge deck. Its solid fiberglass, semi-displacement hull features a protective skeg for the propeller, making it versatile for various activities. The spacious cockpit is ideal for fishing or diving, while its economical operation and comfortable living spaces cater to weekend cruisers. The Pilot is straightforward, with simple amenities and average craftsmanship. Inside, the cabin originally featured a V-berth/dinette at the front, a generously sized head, and a stylish teak-and-holly cabin sole. The 2003 Series II Pilot introduced a refreshed cherry interior and a reconfigured cabin layout with a foldable V-berth for space-saving. Notably, the Series II also includes a shortened keel, propeller tunnel, and a five-blade prop.
