Moonraker, owned by an LLC, is one of the sixteen exquisite yachts crafted by Hansa Yachts between 1987 and 1989, a shipyard celebrated for its superior construction and materials. Designed by Tim King, the MacIntosh 47 is a fast offshore cruiser that offers luxurious living spaces and ample fuel and water capacity for global adventures. The spacious cockpit comfortably seats six, allowing easy movement for line handling, and features excellent accessibility to the winches and helmsman. The 40" wheel and angled backrests ensure a comfortable experience during offshore journeys. A walk-through transom with steps makes boarding a breeze, whether for swimmers or dinghy passengers. Inside, the accommodations sleep 5 to 6 guests in well-appointed cabins with drawers, lockers, and individual heads. The aft cabin boasts a convertible Centerline Queen berth with a new mattress (as of June 2025), which can also transform into a large seating area for gatherings. The expansive galley, accessible through the walkway leading to the aft cabin, is equipped with generous counter space, double sinks, numerous drawers and lockers, a three-burner stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. Two newer freshwater heads feature vanity sinks and both a wet and stall shower. The forward guest cabin is inviting with a Pullman queen berth to port and an additional single berth to starboard, while the electric dinette can be lowered to create more sleeping space. Moonraker also includes central heating and air conditioning throughout for year-round comfort. The engine room is easily accessible from either the galley (to port) or the owner's head (to starboard), featuring a newer 75HP Yanmar Diesel Engine with only 300 hours (installed in 2020) and a Kohler Diesel 8Kw generator with 1404 hours. The deck and hull are outfitted with an electric windlass, primed and bottom painted as of June 2024, and a newer 3-blade bronze feathering prop. Recent upgrades include new Jabsco electric freshwater toilets, Lewmar Oceanic series hatches, a portable electric Rainman watermaker, and solar panels. Additional features comprise a saltwater washdown, propane BBQ, cockpit table, cushioned seating, shower, swim ladder, stainless steel outboard davit with electric OB, Rocna 33 Kg anchor, skeg-hung rudder, and emergency tiller. The rigging includes upgraded rod rigging and a Geneo with roller furling, mainsail, self-tacking staysail, and spinnaker, along with hydraulic Nav-tech boom vang and backstay, complemented by six Lewmar self-tailing winches. For electronics, enjoy a newer Raymarine Axium chart plotter, navigation pod and autopilot system, Horizon VHF radio with AIS, Raymarine depth and speed instruments, and a classic brass clock and barometer. The electrical system is equipped with a Xantrex Freedom XC Pro Marine 3000 watt inverter/charger and features two 110-watt solar panels with a newer MPPT solar controller.
