Built for serious offshore sailing, its features include an encapsulated lead fin keel, skeg-hung rudder, and a powerful, balanced cutter rig, enabling it to achieve impressive 180-to-200 nautical mile days. The hand-laminated fiberglass hull ensures a robust, 'tank-like' build, delivering a famously dry and smooth ride even in challenging beam seas. The deep, centralized cockpit enhances helm security and operator safety in all weather conditions. Key features include: 3 Double Berths (V-Berth, Aft Cabin, and Dinette) and 2 Single Berths (Salon Settee and Breezeway Berth), a full shower stall, a Dickinson 'Antarctic' Diesel Heater for both cabin heat and water heating, and a 120VAC water heater (new in 2017). Additional highlights consist of stainless diesel and water tanks, B&G Instruments CPT Auto Pilot (new in 2016), AIS with Vespar Class A Transmit and Receive (new in 2021), Icom VHF and HF radios, EPIRB (new in 2021), a Magnum Energy Inverter and Battery Charger (new in 2020), dinghy davits and outboard crane (new in 2021), as well as solar, wind, and towing generation systems.
