Hunt Yachts Harrier 36 2013

Introducing LUNA, hull #15 of just 17 Hunt Harrier 36s ever made. Highly sought after and rare, these iconic vessels have become collector's items as the original molds are no longer available. LUNA is a remarkable boat, especially when powered by twin Volvo 435hp diesel engines with shafts, props, and rudders. Imagine the equivalent of a 12-cylinder touring car on water—this is it! She offers plenty of power for outings with family and friends, cruising comfortably at 30-32 knots. Yet, she also excels at slow speeds, gliding effortlessly while consuming minimal fuel and maintaining excellent visibility for the helmsperson and guests. With a dry ride and a spacious open cockpit, LUNA is perfect for both adventures on the water and relaxing at anchor. Designed for Florida's boating lifestyle, her exterior features low-maintenance white gelcoat surfaces that help keep the interior cool. This thoughtfully designed boat is well-equipped with amenities like AC/reverse cycle heat, twin Garmin plotters at the helm, twin Stidd pedestal seats, autopilot, a bow thruster, and a custom bridge deck wet bar, catering to both entertaining and fishing enthusiasts. The focus is clearly on exterior space and day boating, complemented by a generously sized ensuite head below. Inside, you'll find a lovely and practical layout featuring a convertible dinette, galley, and a spacious V-berth that can convert into a large double, ideal for overnight trips or long weekends with family. LUNA is truly a special vessel, meticulously maintained with light seasonal use in a covered slip until 2024. The current owners, seasoned boaters with decades of experience in both power and sail, know a great boat when they see one. Recent enhancements include an electric windlass and anchor roller, fiberglass swim platform, custom bimini, and a dual-height settee on the bridge deck. Offered for sale with reluctance but serious intent, she is ready for many more years of adventure, and we welcome your interest and inspection.
