Whirlaway is a beautifully crafted Picnic Boat Classic featuring an elegant flag green hull. Ready for adventures to Bermuda, with all necessary duties and taxes already settled, this vessel offers its new owners a wealth of cruising possibilities. The cockpit is designed for comfort, featuring an oversized windshield for wind protection, a spacious seating area over the engine bay, and additional seating at the stern, all equipped with removable cushions. A collapsible bimini top provides sunshade and can be stored beneath a full cockpit cover when the boat is not in use. Access to the engine is effortless, thanks to a large enclosed hatch. At the helm, the captain enjoys a Hinkley jetstick system, a Simrad 3Gradar, a Simrad evo2 plotter, and more. Below deck, the cabin is tastefully appointed to comfortably host two overnight guests, with a centerline forward v-berth that can be expanded with an insert and cushion. Aft cabinet storage offers ample space for clothing and gear, while a spacious head with a vanity and shower is conveniently located on the starboard side. Just down the companionway on the port side is a well-equipped galley, complete with a microwave, top-loading refrigerator, sink, two-burner cooktop, and additional storage in both drawers and a large ventilated shelving unit. The ambiance below deck is delightful, showcasing the craftsmanship of skilled carpenters with an upgraded striped cushion set that enhances the classic aesthetic. When not in use, Whirlaway is protected by a full cockpit canvas cover. Her impressive equipment list includes: a bimini top, wood package, green awlgrip sides with a double cream bootstripe, light cream cabinhouse and deck, Stidd helm seat, opening side windows, Hinckley JetStick, a powerful 420hp engine, audio system, well-appointed galley, and complete electronics package. The hull is constructed from a Keviar E-glass hybrid with a balsa core, scrimped with vinylester resin and reinforced with carbon fiber inner skins. The heavy-duty fiberglass swim platform features teak accents, a stainless steel bracket, and a stainless steel half-round folding swim ladder, along with a custom vertically-mounted handrail on the starboard transom, painted to match the hull.
