MYSTARRY comfortably accommodates up to seven guests across two cabins, featuring an open aft quarter berth, twin settees, and a pilot berth. The interior boasts beautiful varnished mahogany complemented by semi-gloss teak and holly cabin soles. Natural light and airflow are abundant thanks to portlights and opening hatches equipped with screens, alongside additional opening ports with privacy curtains. The cabin is well-lit with brass Frigast reading lights and dome lights, along with a brass clock and barometer for a touch of elegance. All interior and exterior cushions were updated in 2019. Starting at the aft near the companionway, the U-shaped galley is on the port side, featuring white Formica countertops and varnished mahogany cabinetry. Ample storage includes deep under-counter lockers outboard of the sink and a varnished utensil box above, with top access to the refrigeration unit at the rear. Further locker storage with shelving complements the countertop and stove area. To starboard, there’s a spacious quarter berth with shelving and locker storage, while a forward-facing nav station features a full-size chart table and a swing-out nav seat, complete with flush-mounted navigation instruments and an electrical switch panel. The expansive main salon comprises a U-shaped dinette on the port side with a varnished mahogany dining table that has a drop leaf for easy access, and a settee that converts to a double berth. Additional storage includes fore and aft lockers and a removable fiddle in the center alcove. On the starboard side, there is a pull-out transom berth and a pilot berth with a shelf, along with a wet locker situated behind the pilot berth. A large double-opening overhead hatch, equipped with a screen, sits above the centerline, paired with a varnished teak overhead handrail. Forward on the starboard side, a full-length hanging locker with an overhead shelf and a bureau provide additional storage. The owner’s cabin features a V-berth that can be converted into a double with a filler, separated from the main salon by a mahogany door, which also includes a private entrance to the head. A seat between the berths, multiple drawers below, sliding door locker storage on both sides, a cedar-lined hanging locker, and a bureau round out the cabin. Natural light and ventilation are enhanced by an opening port and a double-opening hatch with screens. Access to the forepeak chain locker is through locker doors at the front. The head, which has private access from the owner's cabin and a separate door to the main salon, is finished in varnished mahogany and includes: Separate 12-volt systems for starting and house batteries, each with Gel-cell batteries and distinct alternators; a 110-volt modified circuit breaker panel with voltmeter and ammeter; all circuits and major mechanical components grounded with heavy copper strapping. The Hinckley-built single-spreader mast features jiffy boom rigging and tapered aluminum spreaders, clear-coated for added protection. The boat's construction includes a hand-laid fiberglass hull and deck, with the hull cored with Airex foam for enhanced strength and insulation, reinforced with additional laminations in high-stress areas. The hull stringers, also cored with Airex, are bonded to the hull, forming a strong, lightweight unit integrated with the mast step and engine mounts. The fiberglass deck is secured in a 6" flange on the hull, fiberglassed and bolted in place. The centerboard, made of fiberglass with a bronze leading edge, is operated via a pennant with a winch located in the cockpit. MYSTARRY draws 5’ with the centerboard up and 9’1” with it down. The topsides are finished in Aristo Blue Awlgrip (2013), featuring a gold leaf cove stripe and a light blue boot stripe against a green bottom. The cabin house and deck are white with light gray molded-in nonskid surfaces.
