Herreshoff S Class 1925

The S class, crafted by the renowned Nathanael G. Herreshoff, stands as one of his most iconic designs. While most of these vessels were produced by Herreshoff Manufacturing, the 'Pierre' and five others were constructed by George Lawley & Son Shipyard in Neponset, MA, following the Calt. Nate Herreshoff’s one-design philosophy. 'Pierre' boasts an impressive history, having undergone a significant structural refit by BBW in Bristol, RI, in 2016-17, with a restoration report available upon request. In 2017, it received spar restoration and a new Triad trailer featuring an EZ-glide suspension. The following year, it was outfitted with new Quantum Racing sails designed for the class.
