In 2016, 'Fatso' received a fresh paint job and contemporary enhancements, including the removal of factory seams on the flybridge deck, which were replaced with a glass finish akin to modern Hatteras convertibles. With 1985 hours since the last major overhaul on CAT 3412 engines, and twin 21.5 kW Onan generators, this vessel is ready for adventure. Additional upgrades include linear exhaust and risers redone in 2015/2016, an Eskimo ice chipper, a Scopinich fighting chair re-varnished in May 2019, and a full tower with a hardtop featuring electric reel outlets. The paint gleams like new, and the aluminum tower is in pristine condition, free from pitting or corrosion.
