Boat Description

The BO-PEEP II, a cherished family-owned vessel for 70 years, has always been sheltered in a covered moorage. She has undergone two major refits, including a recent re-power with a newer Cummins engine. All systems are operational and the bilge remains as dry as a newly-built boat. This classic beauty is fully prepared for any journey. The owner is open to asset exchanges, considering trophy Arizona real estate, collectible or exotic cars, and qualified seller-carry financing. Designed by John Hacker of the Hacker-Fermann Company and constructed by the Defoe Boat and Motor Works in 1926, the BO-PEEP II features a full displacement hull reminiscent of Hacker-Craft speed boats from that era, ensuring a clean and efficient ride. The hull is built with mahogany planking over oak frames, while the foredeck is crafted from white pine tongue and groove with canvas. The side and aft decks are elegantly finished with teak planking. The bright work, both inside and out, showcases Honduran mahogany with a polished varnish finish. Always maintained as a private yacht and kept within the same family since 1951, the BO-PEEP II has a well-documented history, including its original owner's records, making her USCG documentation one of the longest-standing in the country without a name change. The current boathouse and moorage are available for separate purchase, and the owner is also open to trades for an exotic car.
