Sea Gull is a striking, custom-built 42' aluminum flybridge powerboat, crafted by C. Raymond Hunt Associates of Massachusetts and launched in 1967 at Derector Shipyard in Mamaroneck, NY. This vessel features the renowned Hunt deep V hull with hard chines, constructed with aluminum plating over frames spaced 12" apart and staggered longitudinals. The decks and superstructure are made of fiberglass-covered plywood. Inside, you'll find a cozy two-stateroom layout that accommodates up to 7 guests, complete with a fully-equipped galley and a head featuring a stall shower. The boat is flooded with natural light thanks to large windows, ten opening portlights, and three spacious cabin top hatches. The salon's aft bulkhead boasts four sliding doors that, when fully opened, seamlessly merge the salon with the cockpit into one expansive space. The sizable cockpit offers ample room, excellent storage solutions, and a generous bench seat along the transom. A hatch in the cockpit grants easy access to the engine room, eliminating the hassle of moving salon furniture for maintenance. Another hatch located further aft provides access to the generator, rudders, and other essential components. The flybridge is equipped with a full helm, and all electronics are neatly housed in opening cabinets for protection. It features a pedestal captain's seat alongside two pedestal mate seats, with additional seating provided by a spacious bench seat that has a two-way folding backrest, allowing it to face either forward or aft. Powered by twin 355hp Cummins diesels installed in 2001, Sea Gull cruises efficiently at a speed of 19 knots. This one-of-a-kind vessel not only turns heads with her sleek lines but has also been lovingly maintained by her long-time owner.
