Dr. Frank Russo's journey to his next boat was inspired by a blend of elegant Italian design, a budding musical career, and cherished family boating experiences. He envisioned a stunning 75-foot motor yacht after being captivated by an Italian yacht he saw while boating in Miami. Determined to create something similar, he crafted a cardboard scale model of his dream flybridge motor yacht and presented it to a renowned marine architect. Built by Hill Marine in Seal Beach, California, this vessel, constructed of cold molded fiberglass and wood, was launched in Long Beach in 1989. For three decades, the Russo family enjoyed extensive travels along the Southern California coast, visiting Newport Harbor, San Diego, and Catalina. The boat features a robust construction of cold molded plywood fiberglass, with mechanically and adhesive fastened bulkheads, and is finished with a protective polyurethane paint. The decks are nonskid, except for the aft, which is adorned with teak. Additionally, the yacht is equipped with an array of electrical features, including a 30 & 50 Amp main AC breaker capacity, multiple shore power inlets, corrosion control systems, and various chargers. Comfort amenities include a Splendide combo washer and dryer, a Jacuzzi tub, and a Jenn Air grill and burners.
