The Catalina 22 boasts a spacious cockpit perfect for day sailing with up to six adults. Its retractable keel allows the skipper to easily navigate shallow waters or adjust the draft to escape unexpected shallows. Inside, the V-berth features a double bed separated by a privacy curtain from the rest of the boat, while the dinette can convert into a single or double bunk for smaller guests. The slide-away galley, conveniently located on the starboard side, tucks under the cockpit seat and includes a sink with a pump, a fresh water tank, a two-burner stove, a small ice chest, and a storage drawer. The innovative 'pop top' design enhances headroom and can be used while sailing in either position. Additionally, the top can be equipped with an enclosure for added weather protection and privacy. The mast includes a hinged step for easy setup.
