Cabo 45 Express 2000

The Cabo 45 Express stands out as one of the largest express fishing boats of its era. Built on a wide modified-V hull with cored sides, it features a deep forefoot and a elegantly flared bow. Its striking profile is complemented by a spacious bridge deck that includes a centerline helm, an integrated electronics console, and ample lounge seating. The cockpit is fully equipped with a transom livewell, a beautifully designed tackle center, and two large in-deck fish boxes. Below the bridge deck lies a generous engine room. Inside, the standard single-stateroom layout is beautifully crafted, and the roomy salon comfortably accommodates a small group. (A two-stateroom option was introduced in 1999.) Additional highlights include storage for over 20 fishing rods, an electrically controlled windshield vent, and a transom door with a gate. With several diesel engine options available, the Cabo 45 can cruise at 25 knots with 660hp Cats (reaching a top speed of about 30 knots) or at 28–29 knots with 800hp Cats. Over 100 units have been built.
