Unfortunately, health issues are bringing the current owners back to land. Designed by Edward S Brewer and custom-built by C C Chen Boat Yard Ltd in Taipei, Taiwan, this vessel features a robust fiberglass hull, deck, and cabin, along with a 5/8” teak deck overlay. Recent maintenance includes new caulking and deck screw replacements in 2022, refurbished teak deck fittings, and painted spruce masts. The boat boasts stainless steel standing rigging and various hardware, with thorough inspections conducted on all through hull fittings. Powered by a reliable 65 HP Yanmar diesel engine with approximately 7,500 hours, it has undergone servicing and inspections in 2022. The engine features a new high-output 80 Amp alternator installed in 2023. Fuel storage includes three stainless steel tanks with a total capacity of around 230 gallons, all cleaned in 2020. The boat is equipped with a Double Racor glass diesel fuel filter and new fuel pump, both from 2020, and the prop shaft was repacked in 2022.
