The electronics were updated with a new Garmin Echomap UHD 64cv GPS/Depth Finder with a GT15M-TM Chirp Transducer, and a dual USB charging port was added to the dash. With the Accutrack hull system, the deep-V design slices through chop smoothly for an exceptionally comfortable ride. Reverse chines and a forward spray rail deflect spray providing a dry ride. Running strakes grip the water like flanged wheels on steel rails, tracking straight and cornering precisely. The strakes also provide enhanced lift, getting the 16 Dauntless up on plane quickly while improving fuel economy.
