Introducing the 42 Bertram Sport Fisherman, a rugged battlewagon equipped with all original documentation, including a manual featuring wiring diagrams. This vessel is set up for both 240V 50 Amp and 120V 30 Amp power. It comes with a windlass, 50 ft of chain, and 200 ft of rode, along with three anchors: Bruce, CQR, and Fortress, plus a lunch anchor tucked beneath the sole. The sole was replaced with fiberglass in 2006. A hand-mounted davit is included for a 10 ft RIB on the bow deck. While the boat shows some signs of wear, it remains a solid and reliable fishing machine, ready to head offshore or embark on extended trips from day one! It features a 2006 Cummins QSC8.3 engine with 540 HP and only 815 hours of use, turbocharged and aftercooled, with service performed in July 2025 at 780 hours. The Phasor Marine 7KW generator was installed in 2024 and has just 132 hours. Recent maintenance at Jarrett Bay Boatworks includes bottom paint, zinc replacement, prop tuning, new brass engine pickups, new dripless shaft couplings, and a new solid epoxy and glass rudder shelf, all completed in May 2025. The boat boasts impressive cruising and maximum speeds, achieving 23 knots at 2200 RPM with a fuel burn of 36 gal/hr, and 30 knots at WOT with a fuel burn of 50 gal/hr. The classic Rybovich fighting chair adds to its charm, while the cockpit features a custom-built tuna door. Marine electronics include two plotters, one radar, two sounders, two VHF radios, and an autopilot, all in good working order.
