Introducing the 2001 Beneteau 393 "Category A," expertly crafted for ocean conditions and located in South Amboy, NJ. This remarkable racer-cruiser features a rebuilt engine with only 200 hours since its 2024 rebuild. Accommodating two cabins and two heads, it offers ample storage with a spacious aft locker. With a draft of 6.2 feet, it is equipped with a mast-furling main sail, a furling 135 genoa, and includes outside blocks and a whisker pole for running. Enjoy the comfort of a dodger with windows, cockpit cushions, and a swim platform, all rigged for single-handed sailing. The boat boasts a 35-gallon fuel tank and two 66-gallon water tanks. Recent upgrades include new sails (Neil Pryde) from 2019, salon and cabin cushions recovered in 2022 with new foam in both berths, and new canvas for the binnacle and winches. Additional enhancements made in 2022 include new head fixtures and a swim platform shower, along with a new Harken traveler. In 2023, new head mirrors were added, and in 2024, the boat received a new Magma grill and Raytheon wind speed anemometer, as well as depth, water temperature, and speed transducers. The high-performance Variprop GP folding propeller was installed in 2024, with a new galley sink fixture planned for 2025, alongside two new 4D lead-acid house batteries and a Victron Smart IP43 charger with monitor. The 40 hp Westerbeke engine has a total of 2575 hours, with 200 hours since the rebuild in 2024. This rebuild included new motor mounts, hoses, clamps, wiring, and more. The hull and keel were fully blasted, epoxy sealed, and painted with Sea Hawk Biocop TF Dual Biocide Antifouling Bottom Paint in 2024. Underwater through-hulls and seacocks were replaced in 2026. Additionally, a Zodiac 310 Aero 10-foot inflatable dinghy with a rigid seat and transom, complete with paddles and a recently serviced Yamaha 4 hp four-stroke engine, is included. The dinghy fits neatly in the aft storage locker, and a high-quality motor mount is available on the rail behind the cockpit.
