This is a factory set up called a jack shaft drive. The mid ship design allows the boat to plane more easily. The boat is far smoother in rough seas with the mid ship motor. The most common boat is the Chris Craft Ski Jack that used this system. The Ski Jack benefited from planing out quickly. This boat benefits from a quicker plane and a flush deck. The deck is level with lots of fishing space. The drive is off but is included. The boat needs seating. We are offering the vessel as is for only $2700. The engine system is worth that much. This model was sold as the Rampage, a 27 foot model (bow pulpit incl.) Hull was hand-laid 32 oz matting and chop. Built for Great Lakes fishing.
