This 31-foot 1978 JC Downeast has been in the possession of its current owner for the past 27 years and underwent a complete restoration with beautiful custom woodwork by the skilled cabinet maker and current owner. The motor was fully rebuilt in 2004 by R.A. Mitchell of New Bedford, MA and has 348 hours since the rebuild. Two years ago, the boat was hauled and received a four-coat barrier coating on the bottom. With sleeping space for four and spare props and filters included, this boat also comes with a bluefin permit. Recently serviced and with a history of being owned by the builder of JC boats, Jack Cadario, this boat is equipped with an IVECO 8061SRM30 Diesel 300hp engine and a ZF transmission. It has a comfortable cruising speed of 15.5 knots while burning only 4 gallons per hour, with a 2-93 gallon fuel tank capacity and a 1.5-1 gear ratio. Other features include a Simrad auto pilot, Furono radar, Raymarine c120, windlass, hot water heater, and a bimini top for the aft deck, as well as an in-deck livewell.
