Great First Fishing Boat

Solid little boat stored under cover most of its life. Look at all the pictures by scrolling to the right. The pictured 1983 Mercury 50 wih power tilt and trim is sold but can be replaced by a 1989 Mercury 50 for $1500. This is a great model. It has cdi ignition not the old distributor. It also has tilt and trim. The 4 cylinder has such small cylinders and good ignition that it will idle low for hours just sipping gas. It purrs along at 500 rpm going slow enough to troll for stripped bass. It is an excellent fishing boat for Lake Lanier where you can troll for stripped bass with great success. Strippers are common at 27lbs in Lake Lanier per the Georgia Game and Wildlife publication. Just ask the fishing guides. There is a Motorguide trolling motor as well. The trailer is include.
