**1973 31' Bertram Flybridge** - This charming vessel has been under the careful stewardship of the same captain/owner for nearly 35 years, during which time it has successfully caught numerous billfish and tuna. Although the boat has never undergone a full restoration, it has been consistently maintained and upgraded over the years. In 2000, twin 454 MerCruiser Horizon engines were installed, currently boasting around 2,200 hours of use (the Mercury scanner/computer is included with the purchase). Dripless packings were upgraded in 2020, and the risers were replaced approximately three years ago. At that time, all running gear (21/22 props with 1.5-inch shafts), cables, shifters, and related equipment were also renewed. Additional bulkhead and stringer enhancements were made as necessary over the years, with ZF Hurth Transmissions completing the package. The bottom was soda blasted eight years ago and redone, with a consistent application of Micron 66. In 2010, the fuel tanks were replaced with aluminum tanks (230-gallon center tank and twin 28-gallon wing tanks) that were primed and coated. Any relevant stringers or bulkheads needing repair were also addressed during that update, including the bulkhead by the cabin step/door. Equipped with a modern Simrad autopilot that interfaces with a nearly new NSS3009 (about 1 year old), a Hook 7 depthfinder/GPS plotter (approximately 5 years old), ICOM 100 and ICOM 120 VHFs, and an older Raytheon radar system. The stereo system was replaced three years ago. In terms of upgrades, the aft bulkhead Frammica was replaced last year, the interior Frammica updated within the last eight years, and both the refrigerator and toilet were replaced three years ago. The freshwater tank has a capacity of about 30 gallons, with the pump being roughly four years old. Additional features include a Pipewelders tower, 7-year-old canvas/eisenglass, 22' Lee double spreader outriggers, a 600 ft anchor line with 15 ft of chain, and much more! This boat also comes with a removable full Murray Brothers offshore fighting chair (complete with both rocket launcher and ladderback) and a livewell base mount.
