Drawing inspiration from the highly successful Viking 74, 82, and 90 Convertibles, this model showcases decades of expertise from the same dedicated design, engineering, and production team that has crafted over 80 Viking models over 30 years.
With a meticulously refined hull for enhanced ride quality, the 70 is three inches narrower than the Gen II 68. Strategic modifications to deadrise, chine placement, and strake geometry ensure a smooth, dry, and efficient offshore experience. The extended cockpit offers ample working space during intense fishing scenarios, designed to maintain optimal running attitude, trim, and balance from the keel up. The redesigned flybridge features exceptional aft visibility, a repositioned helm console, flush-mounted electronics, three helm chairs, and plenty of lounging space for owners and guests.
Inside, the horizontal-grain walnut millwork flows seamlessly throughout, crafted entirely at Viking's in-house woodworking facility, known as the Mill. The versatile salon can be configured with either a peninsula or island galley, complemented by a portside L-shaped settee and a raised starboard dinette, providing comfortable areas to unwind between fishing runs. A conveniently located dayhead just off the cockpit is a welcomed feature for serious anglers during long tournament days.
