This vessel is the first of its kind in the US to feature a cutting-edge system that underscores the company’s dedication to enhancing the boating experience through advanced technology. The captain can effortlessly activate the Docking button on the joystick control base, allowing for seamless management of steering, gear, bow thruster, and throttle with just one hand. This system maintains the boat's speed and heading with a simple press, providing intuitive control via fingertip joystick manipulation. The unobstructed transom design offers more room for activities and easier access to the water, ensuring a comfortable and versatile boating experience. Performance-wise, the D6 DPI and Duoprop propellers enable the Southport 30 FE to achieve approximately 2.5 miles per gallon. With a fuel capacity of 170 gallons and cruising at 42 mph, the vessel boasts an impressive range of nearly 400 miles, translating to more time on the water and enhanced efficiency. A standout feature of the Southport 30 FE is Volvo Penta’s joystick docking system, specifically designed for single diesel Aquamatic sterndrive installations, ensuring smooth and precise control.
