With the simple push of the Docking button on the joystick control, the captain can effortlessly manage steering, gear control, bow thruster, and throttle with one hand, maintaining speed and course with ease. The joystick offers fingertip control for smooth steering, ensuring a seamless navigation experience. The unobstructed transom design provides ample space for activities and easy access to the water, enhancing comfort and versatility. On the performance front, the Southport 30 FE, equipped with D6 DPI and Duoprop propellers, achieves around 2.5 miles per gallon. With a fuel capacity of 170 gallons and cruising at 42 mph, this vessel boasts an impressive range of nearly 400 miles, allowing for longer outings while maximizing efficiency. A standout feature is Volvo Penta’s joystick docking system, perfect for single diesel Aquamatic sterndrive installations, ensuring smooth and controlled maneuvering.
