Like every Henriques model, the 42's hull is meticulously hand-laid with solid fiberglass below the waterline, complemented by Divinycell coring in the sides. The bridge offers unobstructed sightlines, a streamlined helm console for flush mounting your electronics, and a front bench seat. Notably, the bridge includes a walkway behind the helm and aft of the cockpit ladder, enabling access to the port companion seat without disrupting the captain’s space. The standard layout features a dinette on the port side, an L-shaped lounge to starboard, and a fully equipped galley down to port, along with an island berth in the forward master and bunks in a second stateroom.
